For 9 months I carried you in
my womb. For 9 years we watched you grow into a bright beautiful young
lady. We taught you everything we possibly could. Many nights we
stayed up tending to your medical needs, and many nights we stayed up just
playing, talking, laughing, and spending time with you. We did not hold any secrets
from you of the toll that Cystic Fibrosis was taking on your young life. We knew you were very strong, as you had to
grow up faster than the rest. You always knew that your time here on earth
would probably be cut short, yet you strived daily to be just like
others. We pushed you hard, only to show you that you could do it.
In school, you made A's and B's, you made many friends, and did the best you
could; for this and ALL of your accomplishments, YOU made US so very proud of
you. As much as WE strived on teaching you, YOU taught us more than we
ever imagined a child could. Your time here on earth was not in vain, for
you gave to us, and everyone you met, the courage and strength to fight for what
we believe in, no matter what it takes.
We are deeply saddened by our loss. To lose a precious child like you
carries more pain than one can bear. Our comfort comes in knowing that you
are no longer in pain; no more struggling for every breath you take. We
know in our hearts that you are with God, running and playing in the fields,
breathing as you never could here on earth. You told us you wanted us all
to go to heaven together. We told you that was not God's plan. We
promised you that you would not be alone; that you had babies to watch
over. We took your hand and told you to take God's hand and we'd all meet
again someday and what a glorious day that would be. Baby, We Love You
! Now In God's Arms.
